Salton Sea Management Program Community Workshops- June 13 to July 12

Download Flyer (English/Spanish)

Diminishing freshwater inflows to the Salton Sea continue to expose playa that could pose a threat to human health, along with increasing salinity that threatens fish and bird habitat. The State of California’s Salton Sea Management Program is an interagency effort established to develop a comprehensive, actionable management plan for habitat restoration and dust suppression at the Salton Sea.

The California Natural Resources Agency is conducting a series of community workshops to provide information on the Salton Sea Ten Year Management Plan, and welcomes feedback and questions from the public on proposed projects.

Upcoming workshops will be held in Imperial County and the Coachella Valley.

Workshop locations and times are subject to change, so please check the Salton Sea Management Program web page at http://resources.ca.gov/salton-sea/.
